Summer Snippet

She has the biggest heart. Sometimes I forget how sensitive she is, until I see her in her element somewhere like this and it hits me that she is really one of the most loving people on the planet.
Just training a mini horse. =)

They said "Parents, go sit down for an hour and leave us alone with your kids." You don't have to tell me twice.
Watching them try to work together was pretty entertaining. The canoe was really hard for them, but the kayak and paddle boards were their favorite.

Dreams do come true.
Hanging out at Aunt Deb's pool.

I don't know why a voice over artist would need a headshot, but apparently it's necessary. Luckily, I have a sweet friend who was eager to doll me up and take my headshots. I walked in feeling like an ugly duckling, and after a half a pound of makeup and some encouraging words I felt pretty good. It also felt good to hose down my face when I got home. There are very few times when I like to be in front of the camera instead of behind it, but this was really a fun experience and it gave me a lot of insight into working with people when I'm the photographer.

It's as cold as it looks. They didn't care.

God bless LA County and their $20 swim lessons for two weeks. The girls are really progressing and Tay may join swim team.

Father's Day water fight on Grandma's driveway.

The girls were making crafts for Wes for weeks before Father's Day. They were so excited to give them to him.

Corinne locked herself in her room and spent a few hours making this tie hanger. Wes' face was the exact same face I made when she showed it to me. So stinkin' adorable.

I just miss Pa.

She always manages to get picked out a crowd of kids as the magician's volunteer.

Just watching TV with her tiara and wand, as one does.
Happy Father's Day to this dad. I still say Sizzler is disgusting.
Such a great dad.
Cousins just chilling at Leo Carillo

The girls could boogie board for hours.

I love the bond these two have. They climbed up on this rock and just sat there talking about Batman, comics, and a "fat sumo wrestler."
