Wes came home today with another woman. He gently sat me down and explained that I was to look at her as a new addition to our home. She's younger, a novelty, and some might even say she's cute. Wes has been holding her a lot, and has asked me to help her feel at home by sharing my things with her. I'm understandably upset. After all, I've always been the center of his universe and now, BAM! It's over. He's so tired from staying up late with this new chick, that he barely has time for me.
This is how I'm picturing Taylor's reaction to the new baby in January. I'm pretty sure she won't be stoked to have a baby around, seeing as how she screams and bawls when I hold any other child. I've done a few test runs with my friend Tanya's new baby boy. The second that kid is in my arms, Taylor is an emotional mess and has even tried to hit me (or the baby, I don't know who she was aiming for more.) This won't be pretty.

I think she will do better then you imagine. I was nervous with Lauren. I got her a little baby doll, baby dipers, a baby stroller and a little blanket for the baby. Then when I had to fed Evan, Lauren would fed her baby too, or change Evan's dipers, she would change her baby's dipers. It was cute. And I think that they know that the baby is their litte brother (or sister in your case). And they automaticly love them too. I am excited for you. I really think that Tay will do fine. She is a good little girl.
I think she will eventually adjust, I mean she has to right, you can't put the baby back in. :) I think they change once the baby is here, just give her "big girl" jobs and she will love it.
You're in trouble with a capitol "T." I heard Jake wouldn't talk to his mom for a week after Georgia was born. But that doll idea sounds good to me.
It will be better than you think!! I promise. Just make sure the new baby "gives" Taylor a present as soon as Tay sees her sister. Also, I talked about Ryleigh so much to Maggie..."Maggie, you are going to have a BEST FRIEND and you'll be BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!" "Ryleigh can't wait to come out and play with you!!" If Taylor has issues, she'll get over them. She'll soon forget what it's like to be the only child.
