Sleep Training- One Night Down

I took the advice of my friend Kim, (Supermom of Lily and Landon), and I let Corinne cry and didn't check on her until after she fell asleep. But I feel kind of guilty. I fell asleep. I heard her wake up at 11:00 pm, had every intention of listening to her cry while I lay there and beat myself up inside, only to wake up at 12:00 am to hear her sniffles. I crept in her room and she was fast asleep. I guess the trick is to be SO tired when you let them cry that you just sleep through the whole awful experience. Phew! We'll see how we do tonight.

I am a firm believer in the cry it out method! You can do it!

Hang in there lady! There is nothing worse than sleep deprivation! Just make sure you don't eat your socks and put your sandwich in your dresser!

Stay strong! One week, and it's over. That room is adorable, and your baby girl is CUUUUUUUUUTE!

Shari told me to do the same thing when Lauren was 10 months old and still getting up at 4 in the morning, which I know, is really not that bad considering the hell some moms go through with there not sleeping children. But it was still hard to not get a solid 8 hours. It was the hardest thing I ever did, but so worth it in the end.

Sleeping through it is definitely less painful. I hate listening to them cry and yes, I did let both kids CIO.
