It's been one of those weeks where our schedule was packed with fun activities, all centered around the kids. A great week in general, for our little family too.

Corinne just jumps right in there and acts like she's a big girl and part of the class. Go ahead and try to tell her differently. It doesn't go over well.
Wes has been working hard for the Gas Co. in management, trying to secure a permanent position in that department. The position he holds now is temporary, even though he's been assigned to it for 9 months with no end in sight. But he's young and he's had to prove himself a lot, so he's actually been commuting from Santa Clarita to Santa Barbara (2 hours away) for the past 3 months. It's been miserable for all involved. He's been leaving at 4:30 am and getting home at 6:30. Upon coming home, he would eat, visit for a few minutes, go to sleep, wake up the next day and do it all over again. Needless to say, it sucked. But he's just been transferred to Valencia, 10 minutes away, and we're all a lot happier. He actually got a bonus too that sort of made up for the last few months of torture. We're really proud of him.

This week was 'T' for transportation week at preschool, with a bike parade on Tuesday and a city bus ride to the bowling alley on Thursday. Not to sound like a snob or anything, but I'm not a huge fan of the city bus. In fact, it just creeps me out all together. So many people crammed together, coughing, sneezing, touching the chairs and railings....BLEH! The germaphobe in me wanted to scream out to all 24 preschoolers, "Don't touch anything!" Even Corinne kept asking me, "What's that smell?" The ride to the bowling alley was sort of fun, but the 45 minute ride back with tired preschoolers, cranky mommies and a load of high school delinquents from our local 'alternative' school, wasn't my idea of a good time. But we all made the best of it and may even brave the bus again this summer. I'll just be sure to bring my hand sanitizer next time.

If you've never seen a preschooler bowl, you're missing out. It's hilarious. The ball would roll at about 1.5 miles per hour and stop about an inch in front of the pins. And had there been an award given out for slowest bowler, Taylor would have won or at least tied with a few others.

We also took a trip to the Skirball museum. It's been two years since the last time we were there, and the kids had so much fun! We met up with Taylor's Aunt Ashley and cousins, as well as my friends, Tanya and Amber, and their boys. They could touch, pull and climb on almost everything, so they all ran around with big smiles on their faces.

Amber, laughing hysterically, as her son is stuck in a net. No worries. He was eventually freed.

We found the misters outside and the kids ran through.
Benjamin decided pants were a nuisance, but left his socks on. lol. Why in the world would you want to ride home in wet pants? He was one step ahead of everybody.
Unrelated to anything but the girls were being awfully quiet one morning, and I found them like this in Tay's room. Taylor 'boom boom' and Corinne 'panty hat' .
St. Patty's day! Green mashed potatoes, corned beef, green jello and green rice krispies. Next year, I'm dying the toilet water green.

Oh, yes. Keeping busy! We'll have to go bowling together. Or to the Skirball. We love visiting there!
Oh my goodness, the picture of the two of them with undies on their heads - PRICELESS!!!
