My eyes are slightly droopy as I type this. We made it through day 9 of this nasty flu/cold that has taken over our house. But thankfully everyone is feeling much better today and to top it off, Taylor and my dad were on the second page of today's newspaper. There's a big picture of them on the swings, Tuesday after preschool. Must have been a slow news day or something because the photographer spent about 10 minutes snapping pics as we played in the park. He had to remind Taylor a few times NOT to pose. I ran to two different convenient stores and bought a bunch of copies. Taylor's proven herself to be a lucky little girl. She gets in the paper for doing practically nothing except being her cute self. She's even won radio contests via Nana, and gone into Disneyland before it opened. I'm thinking I might play lotto this week, and let her pick the numbers.
My dad has never been in the paper, and this is Taylor's first time, so you can bet it will be framed and mounted somewhere in the house. Below is the link to The Signal site. I just found out I can order the picture. Yay!

So cute. And so cool. She's going to love having that when she grows up.
I remember how excited I was in Jr. High when my name was mentioned in the paper. (Didn't get a photo until high school...softball...making an ERROR! Yes, I'm still sore about it.)
