I took the girls to the park for a picnic and we went for a walk up to the upper level playground. Along the walk there are exercise stations and the whole thing's up hill. In one 10 minute walk, it became incredibly clear to me how different my little ladies are.
Corinne ran the whole way, stopping at each exercise station to do the exercises perfectly and athletically, just like Wes probably would. She was convinced the walk was a race that she wanted to win. She ran and ran, and took the short cuts whenever she could.
Taylor had fun playing on the exercise equipment, but she walked along the path with me and held my hand most of the way. She took forever to get up the hill because she kept stopping to find rolly pollies. She found two and named them Ketchup and Mustard. She tried and failed to convince me that they wanted to be her pets.
Corinne has been so happy to have Taylor home for Spring Break. Whenever I think back to when Corinne was born and Taylor was only 2, I remember it being tough at times having two babies. But I'm so glad it worked out that way. They love each other so much and even though they butt heads at times, I'm lucky that they get along as well as they do and love to play and laugh together despite how different they are.

| Seriously? She asked me to do it herself. She wants to do EVERYTHING herself and she's pretty obsessed lately with looking her best. |

Here's some footage of Corinne learning how to do a back flip. Baby steps, but she did great in the big kid class. She is so fearless it's scary.

When Corinne was in her new class last week, the teacher led the kids to the rock wall. She got about half way up, and was SO mad at herself the whole car ride home because she didn't make it to the top. Tears. She is so competitive, while Taylor and I like our feet planted firmly on the ground.
