My Max

Corinne had dance camp last week and absolutely loved it. She came home after the first day though and said, "I don't want to be the star of the show." To which I replied a.) Uh, that's crazy talk. Who DOESN'T want to be the star of the show?! and b.) What on earth are you referring to??

As it turns out, part of the camp show was a play of "Where the Wild Things Are," and Corinne was to be Max. Corinne takes after me in the anxiety department, so as usual I had to bribe the poor kid into doing it. She did great and had a smile on her face the whole time.

My audio is horrible because we were in a giant room and I was on the opposite side of Corinne. I was so proud of her though for having her lines memorized and being a trooper despite her nerves.
