The end of summer is a bummer

And just like that, we're back into the swing of things. It really feels like yesterday that I was blogging about Taylor's first day of kindergarten, and now she's off to 5th grade and Corinne is in 2nd. School started off with a bang, with Corinne coming home on Friday and telling me that she "saw three naked butts today." After further investigation, it turns out her teacher (who we love and had in kindergarten) put on a YouTube video after lunch. A still shot for the video following it popped up when the movie was done, and it was a picture of three girls with their bikini bottoms pulled down. Good times. So on day two I had to send a very sweet, gently worded reminder to her teacher that we'd really appreciate it if she could double check her internet filters. Gotta love public education.

Wrapped up our summer with a final trip to the beach and to the children's museum.
