Bye Space, Hello Blog

I ditched My Space in order to start this blog. Well, that's not entirely true. I've been toying with the idea of leaving "The Space", as the cool kids call it, because it's a little too impersonal for my taste. I was also a little annoyed with my "friends" (pardon the multiple use of quotes in the entry), who started posting pictures and comments that were of poor taste. I have students who've found my page, and that was the kicker. Just as a rule from now on, I promise not to participate in sites that are mainly popular with pre-pubesants. It doesn't say much about my maturity. So, here I am blogging world! Nikki in all her glory!
