Things I Love & Hate

LOVES:
1.) Taylor's laugh: Wes and I've decided it's the best sound ever, and we're lucky to have such a giggly girl. She laughs at everything lately. Thomas the Train, Mommy hiccuping, Daddy chasing her, and "Green Eggs & Ham." (See video footage of her laughing at 8 months.)
2.) Kickboxing: I'm just waiting for someone to try and mug me. I'll take em' down to China Town. Not many people know this, but I take a Cardio Kickboxing class every Saturday morning. I love that last week I was working so hard, I had to stop and mop up my own sweat so I wouldn't slip! It was awesome. I love leaving with my hair completely messy and wet, and my cheeks flushed with all sorts of reds and pinks.
3.) Conquering My Fears: I sang in sacrament yesterday, and it was fantastic. Hands down, the best I've ever sang. I'm a little hung up on the "Attractor Factor" book I've been reading, and how to be a positive thinker. And it actually worked! I just kept telling myself, "Wow. I love to sing in public. It's so fun. I'm so good at it." And it worked. Crazy? Check out the book for yourself. I'm finding it useful.
HATES:
1.) Chin Hair: AHHHH! I could spend all day plucking my facial hair! What is up? And when I go outside, and the sun hits my face, I look like big foot. I've even stopped trying to hide my impulse to pluck from Wes. I was trying to "keep the magic alive," by plucking privately. But now the little suckers are popping up like weeds, and I can't control myself. They must be plucked ASAP!
2.) Colds: We've all been sick in my family at least twice since the year began. It's the cold/flu that won't leave and stay gone. I can't wait until Spring.
3.) People Who Wear Sunglasses Inside: Just stop it. Please. It's not bright inside, that's why it's called "inside." I've seen a few people do this lately, and on days when the sun isn't even out, outside! It'll be raining, and some moron will be in Target with his sunglasses on. I'm easily annoyed, I know.

That video was precious. I agree, kids laughter is the best sound.

And Nikki, you are too funny. I have chi hair too and despise them. It's so humiliating and I could pluck forever and still have hairs pop up. I'm so doing the laser hair removal or what ever it's called... someday.

I am always the one who is the sweatiest in the cardio classes. It seems whenever I go no one else ends up being sweaty. I am glad that someone else is sweats.

I have never seen chin hair on you so you must be doing a good job plucking. I hide nothing from Drew which is probably a bad thing. At least I know he still loves me despite all my flaws.

Congrats on the singing. I was wondering how that went. Going to the Zoo tomorrow, do you want to go?

Congratulations on the singing! And on being brave enough to post about your chin hair...I don't have that issue but I do have other ones but I take the Cindy Crawford approach. "Never point out your flaws because than people will only focus on them more."
You did make me laugh though!

That video is way to cute!! Lauren is way to much of a deep thinker to have ever laughed that hard. I think she was born with the mentality of a thirty year old. Heres hoping Evan will get rolling like that.
