This song was written around 1959.....and nothing's changed. This is sort of how I'm feeling about Christmas today. Hopefully I'll feel the Christmas spirit soon. But in the meantime, enjoy some Tom Lehrer. Possibly one of my favorite song writers of all time.
Not Tom Lehrer, but Paul Williams. I hang with famous songwriters between play dates. The reason I look like a geek in this picture, is because I geeked out a bit when I met him. He wrote "Rainbow Connection" and was on "Yo! Gabba Gabba!" Nuff said.
Totally unrelated to this post, but I had to post these pictures of my gorgeous kidlet and my beautiful friend, Stephanie. Two weddings in two months. Phew!

I can't get behind you on Yo Gabba Gabba, but I've always liked Tom Lehrer. Kind of feeling the same way this Christmas.

OH my goodness! I grew up listening to that song...same exact version (audience laughter & all!) Weird. I'm in the mood to Fast Forward to January.
