Disclaimer: The picture above is from 2 years ago. I am NOT, I repeat, NOT pregnant. I just wanted to get that out there before the emails pour in from friends and family. =) The turkey-size tummy is Corinne, about 1 month before her arrival.
Taylor had her very first public speaking experience on Sunday in our church's primary program. I'll tell you honestly, I was nervous. Because with Taylor and most 4 year-olds, a situation like this in front of an audience can either be adorable and memorable, or turn into a cry fest. Thankfully, Taylor got up to the microphone and said her part loud and clear without any assistance from her teacher who was standing by to feed the kids their lines. My mom and I did a little dance and a knuckle bump, while Daddy sat looking very proud of his little girl. After her line, she came down to sit with us and started crying. I felt awful. I thought maybe she was cracking under all the pressure, or had gotten scared once she realized how many people had been watching her. But when I asked her what was wrong she replied, "I didn't get to sing." This puzzled me, because she actually did sing with the rest of the kids as a choir. She said, "No! I didn't get to sing by myself!".....All I could do was shake my head and laugh at my little diva. For a week I've been telling her that she gets to sing all of her primary songs in front of the church. I had no idea she thought she'd be doing it alone. I love the way her little mind works.

i LOVE it! And gosh her hair is long. You've got such cute girls.
That's awesome!
Sounds like she needs to start rehearsing for a Christmas Eve concert. Family members coming to dinner can buy tickets. Nothin like breaking to show biz with the best audience in the world!
