Corinne has been in gymnastics for a year, and no matter how much I beg her to stay home on Thursday afternoons so I can have a break from running them around, she never wants to miss class. And it's hard to believe how much she's blossomed in the last year. Her Hugo Olympics was on Saturday and she did her floor routine in front of quite a few people. She had a huge smile on her face the entire time. I don't think I'll ever forget it. I live for those moments when they are in their element and enjoy themselves and she sure did. She just had a glow about her that made it worth the ridiculous registration fee and dealing with a crowd of parent onlookers.

Taylor has just kicked butt in second grade. She's such a hard worker, and she really grown in her confidence this year. Her new teacher has been a perfect fit for her, and the school in general is awesome. I feel like we landed where we needed to be. She was awarded Student of the Month today, and at her new school it's handed out during an assembly for only that grade, so her teacher had a few minutes to actually say some pretty wonderful things about my baby. All well deserved, and I was so thankful she was recognized for being the lovely person she is.

Gotta love these moments - such great girls. But I love even more that you feel you are where you should be. There's nothing better than that feeling. Well, except for the satisfaction of drinking a dirty coke poolside, but I digress....
PS. Super sad to miss today, second week in a row. I'm going through Nikki withdrawls.
